Cool Creek Park in Indiana

My nephews recently visited us in Indiana and despite the extreme heat outside........we ventured to Cool Creek Park for a photo shoot.

The boys look cool as cucumbers.........but with a heat index well over 100 degrees, I was dripping sweat.

I'm sure that their Mom was dripping sweat as well as she held Carson up over head and crouched down so that she wouldn't show in this photo of the bridge over Cool Creek.  Unless you knew how young Carson really is, you wouldn't think anything about how he is managing to stay in the photo.

Luckily there weren't many folks at the park yesterday, so we were able to take this photo while sitting directly in the middle of one of the more popular trails without any interruptions from hikers.

A rare moment of solidarity from Zach and Evan!

Here is Carson having some fun with his Uncle Paul.

After the photo shoot, Katie and her cousins had a grand time cooling off in the creek.

Bubba spent some quality time looking for the perfect rocks to refine his rock skipping skills.

Katie just enjoyed being with her cousins, even during one of the hottest days of 2011.
