To celebrate her 2 month birthday, we took LOTS of pictures. But of course, it takes lots of pictures to get a few good ones. Babies are so squirmy, and........unpredictable.
Miss E's best pictures are when she is sleeping, or yawning. Like most babies. So adorable.
She started to fall asleep during the photos of her in her christening gown. It's a beautiful handmade heirloom gown made by her Grandma B. It's absolutely beautiful. She fussed about the cap, but as you can see from the first photo, we plunked it on her when she started snoozing.
Luckily, we were able to change her and still get sleeping baby pictures like this one.
And this one.
And this one.
Lilacs were in bloom so her Mommy suggested that we try some out while she was still cooperative.
Of course, I wanted her picture in the bloomers that I had custom made for her. I have a future strawberry photo session in mind.
Don't let this happy face fool you. She wasn't super happy during the photo shoot when all the accessories like tiaras and crowns came out. In fact, she spent a lot of time trying to (successfully) rub them off of her head.
We had to be quick with the accessories, before she had a chance to protest. To keep things simple, I merely taped them to her head rather than wrestle with her to get the elastic around her head or chin.
My favorite outfit, though, is her little fox get up. Really stinkin' cute, especially the little tiny fox tail. And I love her funny face.
