Not this year.
It was literally Christmas Eve before I did. Christmas really snuck up on me this year..................
Oh well, I did get them finished BEFORE Christmas, if only measured in hours.
She wanted her photos with Shadow this year, though he was not so willing.
As usual, we took a number of hat photos as well.
This one is NOT a favorite of hers. She is the only girl I've met under the age of 10 who does not like glitter. She can't stand it when glitter gets on her.
Here she is with my vintage ribbon coat and a hat from the same mid century time period.
One of the first photos with Shadow, before we realized that his bright blue harness was not looking so great in the pictures. He is the only one of our cats that has to wear a collar of any sort. And his is a harness because he is the Houdini of cat collars. We make him wear one so that we can attach 3 bells to it. Otherwise, the birds that we feed don't stand a chance. He is quite the mouser and bird stalker.
Daelyn, Katie's summer nanny, came over with Katie's Christmas present and she had her photo taken as well.
And as you can tell from this pose, Katie is quite fond of Daelyn.
