The Christmas Blur

The holidays sweep past so fast in a flurry of family, friends, food, presents, and even sometimes snow.  This year was a white Christmas which added to the fun and excitement.  I'm so thankful for photos that capture the holidays and help to make the fun last a bit longer.

Here is Casa Pride, decorated with a fresh coating of lovely snow.

Even our simple wreath looks special with dusting of snow.

My favorite part of Christmas, now that Katie is older, are the presents that she makes at school.  Even the handmade wrapping paper is a special gift.  This year she made coordinating gifts for Paul and I.  And the paper coordinated the two gifts as well.

She draws the most wonderful reindeer and elves.  They ALWAYS make me smile.  It was the arrival last year of her own "Elf on the Shelf" that spurred her to draw elves.  Her elf's name is Starz, and she spent countless hours last year and this year drawing his picture as well as his friends at the North Pole that work on toys rather than spying on little kids.

Katie especially enjoyed her time with her cousins this Christmas.........all 12 of them!  It was undeniably, chaos at my Mom and Dad's house on Christmas Day.  A very full house with lots of activity going on--Katie's style, 100%.

And while the little kids were playing, the big kids were also playing with their toys...............

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Everyone!
