Sweet Shannon

We were blessed this past weekend with a visit from my sweet, sweet cousin Shannon.  She is not only beautiful on the outside, but on the inside as well.  Kids of all ages just love her, too.

There were many photos taken of Shannon with all the youngsters, but invariably, one of the them would close their eyes, look away, make a face..............but not surprisingly,  Shannon looked lovely in each and every photo.

One thing about this photo that you cannot see--Zachary's cast.  He broke part of his arm during a football scrimmage.

Despite my every attempt to get some photos of just Mason, he was not having it.  He only paused when he was with someone else, like his big brother Carson and his cousin Kayden.  So sweet they look in photos.  Do not be deceived.  They are ALL boy.

Carson and Kayden really had fun at the cookout.  Cousins are the best.  And cousins your own age, the very best.

In case you hadn't noticed, Mason would like for you to see that he has a nose.

What a super sweet smile...................

One of the few photos of Mason where he is alone and actually paying attention to me.  Look at that devilish grin.  You just know that he is plotting something.

Love this photo of Katie with Shannon.  The last time they had their pictures taken together, Katie was only 4 and I had managed to snap a shot of the two of them on the beach in San Diego.  Shannon was amazing Katie with the seaweed that had washed up on the beach.

I was sad to see the sun start to set and the tiny little moon rise.  The pretty clouds that evening were the only consolation.  It was the end of a fun day.

Driving home, we passed the new water tower for Miami County.  I just cannot get used to it.  I'm not a big fan of change, though.  This is well known.
